When should I schedule my post op visit?
When to see your doctor depends on what surgery you had. If you stayed in the hospital after surgery, typically you should schedule your post op visit for 2-3 weeks after you leave the hospital. This may be sooner if you have drains. If your surgery was outpatient, you should typically follow up in 3-4 weeks after your surgery.
What if I need to talk to a doctor after hours?
A doctor is always on call after hours and on the weekends for emergencies. Please call the office number and you will be connected to the on-call answering service. If you have a non-emergent question, please call during normal business hours.
